Description
Me.dium is building the next big thing on the web! Our applications provide social exploration, search and chat features for Facebook and other social network users. Located in heart of downtown Boulder, we are seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Software Engineer to build highly scalable web applications.

Main Job Duties:
* Revolutionize the web (not all by yourself- but the features you will be working on are cutting edge.)
* Work with Me.dium's sidebar, toolbar and website teams building products accessed by over 1 million Me.dium users.

Requirements:
* Passion to design for the end user
* Knowledgeable about social network platforms and APIs (Facebook, Open Social, Search Monkey, etc.)
* Ability to build strong back end systems to handle heavy traffic.
* 6-10 years software development experience
* 5+ years Java
* Strong knowledge of OOP design patterns
* Hibernate & Spring
* Strong knowledge of AJAX
* Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
* Experience with version control systems such as Subversion or CVS
* Familiarity a major plus in one or more of the following frameworks: Wicket, Struts, Tapestry, Spring Web MVC
* Advanced HTML/DOM experience
* Strong JavaScript and JSON experience
* Desire to work in a start-up environment
* Excellent teamwork skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
* Entrepreneurial spirit
* Ability to think analytically and see the big picture
