POSITION: Software Engineer (System Software)
LOCATION: Burlington, MA
COMPANY OVERVIEW:
We provide business people and consumers with much more than e-mail, text-based instant messaging and data services to communicate among themselves. They also need truly real-time interactive communication services - voice calling, PBX/Centrex services, presence with instant voice or video calling/conferencing, multimedia collaboration, video conferencing, distance learning, interactive Customer/Supplier Relationship Management (C/SRM), multimedia customer care websites and more. We ensure that the delivery of these real-time interactive communications across IP networks will work end-to-end -- to anyone, anywhere, any time.
Responsibilities:
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Assume responsibilities as a member of our system software development team working on our current and next generation session border controller network infrastructure products.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Design, develop, and implement a variety of software components such as fault tolerance, distributed configuration management, distributed statistics and logs, and alarm aggregation.
Qualifications/Experience:
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 BSCS/EE or equivalent and 3-5 years of software development experience evidencing strong C/C++ skills.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Knowledge of VxWorks and/or Linux RTOS required.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Experience with distributed architectures and fault tolerance required.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Knowledge of TCP/UDP/IP and development in a multiprocessor environment also required.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Experience with real time switching systems, SIP, MGCP, SS7, and CALEA are all pluses.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Strong self-starter willing to work within a small, highly productive team committed to making visible contributions in developing real world contemporary VoIP products and features.
