Description
xScion Solutions is an IT professional services firm supporting commercial clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our clients span the financial services, banking, educational and health care sectors. We are currently recruiting for five Software Engineers who possess solid expertise in Java and Domino development for a project engagement with one of our large financial sector clients in northern Virginia.

This is a high visibility project that will re-write a significant portion of the client's mortgage application. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, a strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal direction.

Job duties are as follows:

- Perform analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents
- Resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles
- Work closely with other team members and IT groups in a dynamic environment

Required Skills:

- 6+ systems development experience
- 5+ years Lotus Notes client & Web development
- 3+ years Java development
- Java, Domino, XML, LotusScript, JavaScript, DB2 (RDBMS)

Desired Skills:

- J2EE, EJB, Servlets, JSP, RAD6, Web GUI Development Struts frameworks, Object oriented design and design patterns, JDBC Legacy data experience (z-mainframe, CICS) UML, Full Life Cycle methodology Experiences in servlet design, web services.
