Our client, a worldwide provider of high-tech electronics and software tools, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer.

Job Function:
A Senior Software Engineer who will be an integral member of the team responsible for real-time firmware, drivers, and GUI software development for the entire Company product line.

Duties and Responsibilities:
â?¢ C and C++ programming.
â?¢ Development of GUI-based Windows tools for next-generation Company products.
â?¢ Development of software and firmware for embedded applications.
â?¢ Linux and Windows drivers and special applications to augment Company hardware products.
â?¢ Product responsibility from conception to develop to production (including post-sale maintenance and support).
â?¢ Write and edit technical content for Company technical publications and application note catalog.
â?¢ Provide training and guidance to sales and support personnel on products that you develop.
â?¢ Custom application software development for special projects.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Knowledge and Skills:
â?¢ Well-developed software coding and troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail
â?¢ Expert level programming in C/C++
â?¢ Must be able to demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Visual Studio (.Net, MFC,API).
â?¢ A responsible team player with positive attitude, a high degree of personal integrity and a strong work ethic are all essential.
â?¢ Must have strong organizational skills and ability to work with other technical staff and customers.
â?¢ Excellent problem solving skills
â?¢ Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
â?¢ Must be able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
â?¢ Working knowledge of Boundary-Scan and JTAG is a plus.
â?¢ Experience with embedded software development using In-Circuit Emulators is a plus.

Experience:
â?¢ Must have 3-10 years of software development experience
â?¢ Experience with GNU toolkit and UNIX is a plus.

Other:
â?¢ U.S. citizenship or Valid Green Card required

Education:
â?¢ BSEE, BSCS or BSCE engineering degree with GPA of at least 3.5/4.0 and relevant experience of 3-10 years.
