Description
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test and integrate software systems for the Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Division
* Implement code per design specifications in an object-oriented environment for communications and signals intelligence systems.
* Assess relative performance and resource costs associated with possible implementation schemes.
* Contribute to system design as required. This will require an understanding of SIGINT systems, subsystems, equipment and procedures.
* Take the initiative to test all code against known usage, determine faults and eliminate them.
* Document software and interface specification and functionality.
* Participate in the creation of system and sub-system test procedures.
* Demonstrate developed software to current and potential customers.
* All candidates must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a Department of Defense Top Secret Security Clearance and pass a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Results Expected
* Develop and implement instrument control, database access and GUI software in accordance with budgets and schedule.
* Take responsibility for designated software tasks.
* Complete documentation of all software
* Fit into high energy, fast moving organization.

Requirements & Specifications
* Knowledge of C/C++, Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC) libraries, Visual Basic, and Windows (NT, 2000, XP) operating system.
* Creative problem solver. Ability to implement code based on requirements developed by system engineers.
* Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
* U. S. Citizen. Position requires individual to successfully complete a Background Investigation with Polygraph

Education
BSEE, (MSEE preferred) or BSCS, (MSCS preferred)

Experience
5 - 7 years of software design, implementation, and development, GUI design and implementation. Experience with SIGINT and/or communication oriented systems strongly preferred.
