Job Title: Software Engineer
Department & Team: Vonexus Development
Location: Indianapolis or other
Job Reports to: Director of Development

Job Summary
This position requires a motivated software engineer to build and maintain system components of EIC. These systems could include core IC components, 3rd-party integration components, EIC handler programming, and GUI applications. The successful candidate will have initiative & self-direction to work in a flexible environment and the ability to adapt project work to respond to changing business needs.
Some example projects might include integrating EIC to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Outlook.
Major Responsibilities/Activities
.Net programming (C#) (advanced)
C++ (moderate)
application integration design
GUI/client-side programming
server-side programming (moderate)
troubleshooting skills extending into 3rd-party applications
Minimum Requirements
BS in CS or related field (Math, EE, etc.), or equivalent industry experience
experience w/ Microsoft APIs and component frameworks
experience with Microsoft Visual Studio development tools
knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform architecture
Beneficial Skills
EIC and CIC systems architecture
Microsoft Enterprise application architecture (MBS apps, LCS, etc.)
Basic understanding of VOIP systems
Interpersonal communication skills sufficient to work with Vonexus partners and vendors on a technical basis to discuss new component features
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)


Essential Physical Function

Communicates regularly with peers and management
Uses computer frequently
Communicates with customers or partners in support situations to analyze & recommend diagnostic actions
Commonly lifts/maneuvers objects weighing 10-25 pounds
