Description
Requires BSCS with 4 years of related experience. Hands-on senior data engineer responsible for developing and implementing data strategies and application solutions and engineering tools including data modeling and mapping, cleansing, legacy data integration, data warehousing, and automatic data collection interfaces to internal and customer-provided test systems. Primary support for engineering database/systems/tools development to support the Engineering and Operations team for the division. Candidate is solely responsible for the development of WEB tools and shop floor and businesss/engineering reports used on a daily basis for internal and external use.



Responsibilities include developing API specification that allows universal mapping of test data collected from manufacturing and repair test systems to a data collection system. Develop and maintain WEB tools for data collection, engineering reporting and analysis systems, and test automation. Works with internal and external customers on data reporting requirements, shop floor data collection, and process control of product in the repair cycle.



4+ years performing software development, and 4+ years using MS Access, MS SQL7/2000 (SQL, stored procedures, DTS, jobs), Visual Basic, Business Objects, Hyperion Intelligence, OCR FormReader, ASP, Perl, TCL, Expect, CSHELL, AWK, Java, XML, HTML programming. Must have strong background in IIS Server, SQL server database management, Windows 98/2000/XP/Server, UNIX, LINUX, networking support.df-tc
