John Deere Agriculture Equipment is seeking a Software Engineer to provide application development and support to partner in the planning, delivery and/or support of business processes utilizing information technology and business practices for strategic business units.  In this position, you will: 


  • Collaborate with the project technical leader, project manager and other team members on assigned projects.
  • Tasks may include contributing to architecture and design, coding, testing, documentation writing, and other development activities as required.
  • Write reliable application code that conforms to standards and guidelines, and meets software requirements as defined by product owner.
  • Work co-operatively and professionally with program managers, customers, and other colleagues.
  • Work independently to carry out assigned tasks.
  • Complete assigned tasks on schedule, according to instructions, and demonstrating high work quality.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and core technologies.
