We are currently accepting resumes for a Software Engineer.

Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.

We are seeking a creative software engineer to perform design, implementation, and unit testing of software subsystems. This person will direct a team through the implementation and unit testing of large subsystems. The interface subsystems are based on Sammi, a Motif interpreter. This individual will be responsible for interface designs to support the Sammi windows. Will use a C++ standard template library to take high level designs into software implementation. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 1 to 3 years experience in the field or related area.

Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience, including prior experience in a commercial software development environment.

Enterprise class product-experience, and a track record building complicate windows applications Hands-on development experience using Delphi or C++, VC++, ASP, ATL, COM+, or VB, and web service creation (preferred)

Proven experience with database programming, Stored Procedures, XML, XSL, and COM component creation in an n-Tier development environment

Working experience with relational database such as Firebird, MS Access, and SQL server.

Prior experience with instrument communication or device communication.

Prior experience to work with outside software development vendor is a plus.

Strong object oriented design skills and a track record of delivering OO designs to market

Solid oral and written presentation skills, and a demonstrated ability to clearly articulate and defend design decisions to a wide audience.
