We are currently looking for a Software Engineer that has a strong background in Visual C++, COM and Windows Application Development. The successful candidate will be working on developing software that services the health industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing requirements analysis, design, implementation, and test.
Implementation of feature requests, successfully merging the new design into the existing architecture.
Resolution of problems reported from the field; including simple bug fixes, design corrections, and complex architectural modifications.
As part of the development process, follows engineering processes, practices, and procedures.
Report progress and status to project management.
Perform rough estimates of time required to resolve issues, helping the task prioritization process.

Experience/Skills
Must Have:
* BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering
* 5-7 years of SW Engineering experience
* 2-3 recent years of C/C++ development experience utilizing Visual Studio 6.0/.NET
* 2-3 years of COM development experience
* Windows Application Development experience (not product development experience)
* Development to market experience - able to meet precise deadlines.
* The ability to work with both internal development teams and external clients in the deployment of various software releases.

Ideal Traits/Skills/Education:
* MS Computer Science or Software Engineering
* Good communicator
* Good troubleshooting skills
* Experience working with outside companies
* Health industry experience
