Description
Position Description:

Develop product-level software for exciting security & industrial markets in a stable growing company located in Reno, Nevada. As a contributing software engineer you will be given responsibilities to design, develop, document, test software, and to provide maintenance/ enhancements of the company current existing software products.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science or a related field of study and equivalent work experience in designing, developing, and implementing server and desk-top applications using object oriented programming (C++).

2+ years of progressive experience in object oriented programming languages such as C++, C# and experience using Microsoft.NET technologies.
Experience in GUI development using Win32 API, MFC is a must. Experience in COM, ATL programming and ActiveX Control development using ATL is a must. Multi threaded programming experience is a must.
Hands on experience on Audio/Video Playback (File based and real time) systems using Direct show and legacy VFW, Direct Sound and Direct Draw. Experience in writing Direct Show Filters is desirable.
Experience in writing Audio/Video Capture software using DirectShow is a must. Concepts of Sample Grabber and Media buffer manipulation are desirable.
Database skills in MS SQL Server and ADO programming is a plus.
Experience in TCP/IP, UDP and Multicast network programming using Winsock 2.0 is a PLUS.
Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
