Experience/Skills
Excellent problem solving skills, strong teamwork ethic as well as communication and organizational skills. Strong customer and results orientation. Able to work with a diverse group of people in local and remote locations. Ability to analyze complex data and develop recommendations and solutions. Experience in design, development, and implementation of software applications. Experience in C/C++ programming, Microsoft SQL Server relational database design and development. Experience working with Windows Operating Systems (troubleshooting, software installation and set-up issues). Client/Server and/or Web application development and implementation experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combined with a minimum 3+ years experience in software development. Visual Basic, STL, Visual Studio 6.0 (with MFC for user interface), ADO, COM/DCOM, .NET, Javascript, AJAX, Prototype, Scriptaculous, multi-threading and performance optimization, Crystal Reports. Windows Installer development experience, some familiarity with interval load and metered data, energy or utility industry.
