Our client is seeking a very talented .NET programmer with some systems analyst experience for a 9 month to longer contract. The company is located conveniently off I5 and I84 in NE Portland. This major company offers a fantastic work environment which is professional, business casual and relaxed. This person will create multiple enterprise applications that support commercial & trading and risk management systems, from client server to web.Competencies: • BS Computer Science or equivalent combination education & experience• 5+ years experience in business application design, development, installation and/or modification in an online environment. • Analysis and design skills involving ability to gather data on systems issues, define alternative approaches, assess business impact, recommend cost effective solutions, and develop and implement those solutions. • Communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with clients to understand needs, define requirements, and provide effective solutions. • Experience in the energy industry or in an enterprise-level environment whose scope, size and complexity are comparable. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills • Very strong interpersonal skillsFor immediate consideration, apply now or email john.franzese@rht.com
