Are you a software engineer experienced with front end web technologies such as Java, ASP.net, CSS, and HTML? Are you looking for an opportunity to build enterprise applications using .Net 2.0 that will be viewed and used by millions of people? We are currently seeking a software engineer with 5+ years of experience to help integrate our client's software into their client's web portals. In this role you will use your experience with a variety of network technologies, while leading internal and external clients with Internet-, intranet-, or extranet-based applications, including but not limited to C++, Java, XML, HTML, CGI, ASP, multimedia applications, database interactions and data modeling tools. Our client is looking for experienced software engineers to help create the next generation of web-based management applications. As part of our client's development group, you’ll be working within a high-energy team to produce high-performance software solutions, by adapting their software to end user needs and integrating that software into their environments. You will need to enjoy working with HTML and CSS, understand how to work with data, both in XML and SQL Server, and be interested in working in an environment where you work with different technologies and problems every day. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Integrate our software within our client web sites and portals•Code clean, scalable, and reusable HTML, Java Script, and CSS• Design and implement web-based applications as a member of the engineering team•Build and modify tools to make implementing and integrating our applications easier• Build industry leading user interfaces• Collaborate with QA engineers, Project Managers and other team members• Adhere to best practices including unit testing for all software writtenQUALIFICATIONS• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or comparable work experience• 2+ years experience developing web applications • Object oriented software development experience required • Experience with .NET 2.0 development using C# required• Experience using Microsoft SQL Server in developing database applications• Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services a plus• Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services a plus• Knowledge of SQL and experience in basic stored procedure development• Solid understanding of ASP.NET, including server control development• Experience in a TDD environment including experience with automated unit testing• Familiarity with the major aspects of the W3C specification for HTML and CSS, as well as with Java Script and the DOM • Practical experience with AJAX a plus • Experience using Microsoft SQL ServerReporting Services a plus• Experience using Microsoft SQL ServerIntegration Services a plus• Strong written and verbal communication skills
