Excellent Systems Engineer contract to permanent opportunity in expanding Greenville location. Professional setting and environment. Job Functions:- Maintain MS Exchange servers and all the associated processes that are involved with e-mail delivery including security, anti-virus, installation, storage management backups, Patch management, etc. - Provide network/update support for Windows NT4.0/2000/2003 Servers - Support FTP Server/process; define access for internal/external entities, space allocations, upgrades- Support Web based servers to include JBoss Applications Server; Apache web Server, Red Hat, Linux Fedora Core, and FreeBSD

Department: Information Technology Experience:4 year Degree in a Computer related field, Minimum 2 Years hands on experienceRequired Skills: MS Exchange, Windows NT 4.0/2000/2003 Server Administration, FTP Administration, RedHat ES 5, Apache Web Server, JBoss Application Server, Linux Fedora Core, PC desktop/Laptop support, Wireless Networks, PHP 4, FreeBSD, MCSE preferred but not requiredRequired Job Skills: - 2+ years of directly related experience with Microsoft Exchange support. Preferably Exchange 2003 experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. - Microsoft Active Directory, SMTP, Microsoft Outlook PDA's, Network and Operating System Security. - McAfee Anti-SPAM/Anti-Virus products and TCP/IP networking essential. - 2+ years experience working with the following OS: Redhat EL 5, FreeBSD, and Linux Fedora Core- 2+ years experience with the following Web based Servers: JBoss Application and Apache Web- 2+ years direct experience performing Web administration to include configuration, setup, enhancements, troubleshooting, access, and support- Exposure to EMC SAN environments, server monitoring applications, FTP processes, and Veritas Backup application is useful. - The candidate must be able to professionally and effectively communicate to clients, coworkers and management in both verbal and written form. Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to plan for and meet deadlines.
