Description
Are you a GIS Developer looking for a long term contract? Are you looking for an opportunity to build ArcGIS applications for a national firm easily accessible from the Max line? We are seeking a GIS Developer for a long term contract opportunity in Portland. In this role you will create desktop applications using ESRI's ArcGIS 9.2 Desktop's ArcMap application and VB.Net. The programming will include configuration management, complex data interaction, and dynamic ArcMap document data/cartography management. This role requires advanced technical experience with application development, source code management, as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years experience with GIS data accessed with ArcObjects and .Net. Experience with ArcSDE, Oracle and Oracle programming such as PLSQL is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with FastGate, AutoCAD, ABB CADOPS or FME.This is a customer facing role. Experience working in project teams directly with clients are a plus!
