Description
Programmer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, documenting and deploying programs. Programmer is also responsible of analyzing and modifying data related to all the programming system he/she works on. Programmer is responsible for system analysis using Object Oriented Analysis and Design of existing and new software systems. Programmer is expected to guide and help other members of the team as and when needed. Programmer reports to the team lead.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Participating in full Software Development Life Cycle and Security Development Life Cycle
Utilizing Test Driven Development methods
Unit testing and correcting defects from Quality Assurance testing
Completing small project development requests (bug fixes, data requests ,etc.) from other departments
Attending meetings related to development projects
Assisting in quarterly scheduled releases of the M-Pact web application

Experience/Skills
REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor¡¦s degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems
4+ years of experience in creating and maintaining web application systems
Knowledge and previous experience developing web based platforms using ASP and VB
Script and JavaScript for maintenance of existing code
Must have 3+ years experience developing N-Tiered Web Applications with ASP.NET and C#
Must have 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 with Strong / Detailed working knowledge of database concepts including Query Optimization
Strong / Detailed working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming techniques
Working knowledge of design methodologies like UML and ability to document systems
Working knowledge and understanding of XML
Working knowledge of web farms, web site deployment and load balancing strategies is a plus
