Description
Client is software and services company and have developed a rich suite of e-procurement and integration web-based applications in Java J2EE and Oracle. They have implemented tools for catalog, order guides, client, vendor, budgeting, spend controls, workflow, electronic interchange, and reporting. They are growing rapidly and moving their products internationally. Their applications are implemented in Java J2EE, Oracle 10, use XML and are based on JBoss and Linux and Microsoft O.S. They also use open source tools to facilitate their applications. The idea candidate is someone who is naturally curious, likes to stay abreast of changes in technology, has good attention to detail, follow up, and presentation. REQUIREMENTS: Entry level with up to two years experience.Must have Bachelors degree in computer science. Good understanding of object-oriented design.Good understating of Linux, XML and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL)Good base programming understanding of Java, including JSP, EJBs, and DAOsUnderstanding of JBoss application serverGood understanding of the Struts framework, Tomcat and/or JettyJavaScript is a plus and familiarity with JavaScript library Dojo.Ajax technology is a plus.Understanding of Linux and Windows 2000/XP/2003 operating system.Excellent communications Understanding of electronic interchange and EDI experience is a plus.Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well in small teams.
