Candidate will provide engineering for a Java/Oracle Web application (running on the Solaris platform). The candidate will provide O&M coding on the current system in addition to working with the customer to develop requirements for future versions. The candidate will work with various parts of DHS organization, including (a) users, (b) security and (c) help desk staff. Briefing support, meetings and presentation to organization leadership are required at times. Candidate should have the following skills:

Experience with Java Web technologies (servlets, JSPs, Tomact or other servlet container). Experience with Oracle 10g; able to write PL/SQL queries and perform some administrative tasks (setting up jobs, tuning indexes, applying Oracle and security patches, etc). Understanding of XML and Web services. Able to work with customers to gather requirements and understand their business processes. Strong presentation and technical writing ability (must maintain all project and security documentation).

Clearance:
Minimum Security Clearance Requirement: Top Secret with active SSBI; SCI preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
