Description
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer, an opportunity with a leading company in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

In this position candidates will be called upon as needed to design, develop, document and integrate simulation products and may also be tasked with database setup and maintenance. Duties includes software design, software development in C, C and UNIX Scripting languages, unit testing, and developing associated documentation. Coordinate with analysts, users and other software developers to develop and document specialized software functional requirements and designs, based on test objectives and analysis needs. Must be customer focused, able to work in both individual and team environments, and must be able to produce reliable software products and documentation within established deadlines.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience related to this position. This position requires extensive proficiency in all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, code, test and integration. Additional requirements include an understanding of modeling and simulation architectures, excellent oral and written communications skills, the ability to fully understand and analyze scientific data to develop, troubleshoot and validate specialized software tools, PC (Microsoft Windows) and Unix Workstation (LINUX, Solaris, IRIX) software engineering and development, the ability to work in multiple development languages ranging from Scripting to C , the ability to effective timeshare between multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The candidate must obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access within a timeframe set forth by management.
