Technology Management
ACS engineering teams exhibit high energy, deep technical skills and a drive to get things done. Our software engineering managers need to be technical leaders and motivators who are comfortable leading these teams in a high-pressure, dynamic and global environment. Jobs are broadly defined and interact with Project Management, Solution Support and other groups at ACS.
The role: Software Engineering Director
You are a highly technical Software Engineering Director who can drive technical projects and provide leadership for a group of 120+ engineers in an innovative, fast paced and globally distributed environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of the technical projects from detail design, construction to deployment.
  • Responsible for hiring, retaining and developing talents to scale the team with quality, agility and capacity to support business growth.
    Position Requirements:
  • Strong system development process and project-management skills. Proven track record for high quality product and project delivery.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative, fast paced and globally distributed environment.
  • 5+ years relevant experience managing or driving large and global integrated software engineering teams.
  • Establish credibility with smart engineering teams quickly.
  • Excellent oral and writing communication skills

  • BS in computer science or related fields preferred (MS CS, or EE, MBA a plus)
