Description
Robert Half Technology is recruiting a Software Engineering Manager. The Software Engineering Manager will perform functions to plan, control and manage the design, development, implementation and enhancement of the client’s software products. Responsibilities include working with Product Management and internal staff to fully define, design and deliver the intended benefits of the software products, making decisions within the limits of established policies. The Director will also manage the Software Development Process of each project to ensure timely completion of projects given quality, time and budgetary constraints. Manage domestic and international operations staffs, ensuring proper internal communication and coordination of the groups. Provide technical product guidance and other support to assist Product Management in preparing sales staff to effectively communicate product enhancements, value and capabilities and to respond to customer issues and concerns. Provide solutions to specific technical concerns raised by internal and external customers. Resolve problems arising during development or implementation process, including issues related to upgrades, product pricing, technical concepts and overall product vision. Experience/Skills
4 year degree in Computer Science or similar degree. 5+ years experience in large corporation. Knowledge of electrical engineering is a PLUS.
