(entry level) Software Developers - CDMA Handset
Scripps Ranch Business Park = San Diego, CA

Description Requirements:

Initially responsible for software testing and debugging to learn the source code; then performing analysis, design, programming, integration, unit-test and pre-production debugging and modification of new and existing wireless telephone handset features.

Minimum BS degree in CS or similar preferred; prior internships highly preferred in embedded systems programming; Some prior skills in programming in C language is required.


Knowledge or familiarity in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
Call Processing, Data Services (especially EV-DO technology), BREW porting, Browser porting, Java porting, Push To Talk technologies, Generic User Interface, Short Message Service, Expanded Memory Specification/Multi Media Messaging, Call Manager and device drivers.

Be well organized, detail oriented, and articulate in oral and written communication. The positions require strong problem solving skills.
