Position Overview:

The main role of the Software Product Developer is to gather requirements, design and develop solutions for company*s core PPS products. This position will involve a moderate amount of customer contact.

Responsible for gathering customer solution requirements.
Responsible for customer solution design.
Responsible for coding solution.

Requirements:

1. Visual C++ and Visual Basic experience.
2. Windows Development experience.
3. System and component level requirements gathering.
4. Design document preparation and revision.
5. Application development with follow through to Alpha and Beta testing and creating documentation for future implmentation and support.
6. Support and enhancement of existing applications.
7. Relational Database experiencedf-tc

Experience/Skills
Education: An Engineering or Computer Science bachelor*s degree from an accredited university desired.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience developing software for integrated complex systems.

Additional Information:

1. 25% travel may be required.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills
3. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently
5. Excellent interpersonal skills
6. Experience with Windows domains and configuration and networking
7. Ability to troubleshoot software issues in complex systems
8. Ability in Visual Basic, Visual C++
9. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley (or similar) PLC logic considered a plus
10. Familiarity with Microsoft Project and project management experience is considered a plus
11. Experience working in an automation environment is considered a plus
12. Oracle Database and PL/SQL a plus
