Description
Software Product Manager needed for client located in Norcross, GA. As the Product Manager, you will be a member of the Product Management organization and a key contributor supporting the overall product management and development processes for RCD's internet-based software solutions and services. By providing best-practice product management expertise, the Product Manager will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing MRDs, FRDs and working very closely with the engineering development teams to ensure proper implementation and delivery of the products, as well as interacting with key customers to gather and validate requirements. The Product Manager will also be involved in product marketing activities, competitive analysis, business intelligence and other areas related to the overall product lifecycle to ensure successful development and deployment of these products. Responsibilities:Develop Market Requirement & Functional Requirement documents and specifications. Research and develop Competitive Analysis and product positioning. Contribute to business and technical priorities for product enhancements. Drive cross-functional teams to achieve timely product development, testing and successful deployment. Work closely with customer's, engineering, sales, consulting, support and marketing to serve as a point of contact for product related issues. Assist marketing department in providing content for white papers, brochures and other marketing material and coordinate product launch and sales support activities. Required skills: B.S. in Engineering, Architecture or related discipline. Masters of Science Degree Preferred (Construction Engineering and Management). A minimum of five years of software product management experience in web-based software applications and solutions. Strong understanding of the architecture, engineering and construction industry. Experience in customer requirements gathering, market trends and competitive analysis. Strong understanding of the business-to-business e-commerce and appreciation of the role the internet is playing in the transformation of companies and business practices. Excellent writing and verbal communications skills. Full proficiency using MS Office applications as well as experience using some graphic publishing/editing tools.
