Description
This position will be responsible for designing, developing and testing software and supporting existing software. Candidates must have strong skills in device driver / NDIS miniport driver development/debug. This position requires a BSEE/MSEE or BSCS/MSCS with 3 years experience. A proven track record in complete software development life-cycle, functioning at the system level is required. The candidate must be able to produce well-documented code and have the demonstrated ability to develop and deliver superior products under aggressive schedules. Recent experience developing device drivers using C/C++ for Windows 2000/XP and Windows CE are required; Windows 2003 is helpful * Microsoft Visual Studio and Windows Driver DDK expertise is necessary * Excellent C programming skill with Windows device driver / NDIS miniport driver design and development is must. * Experience with debugging low level Windows device driver and characterizing and optimizing high performance networking. * TCP/IP Network knowledge is essential * Experience with test driven development * Must be self-directed, analytical and work well in a team environment Preferred Experience: * Knowledge of Linux and Linux device driver development is preferred. * IEEE 802.11 Wireless development experience is plus * Knowledge using debugging software like Softice and WinDbg is preferred.
