We have an immediate need for a Software Programmers with PLC Programming Experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
CDI Government Services has assignments for software Embedded programmers who have experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC programming. This long term contract position will located at our client's site . CDI does offer good compensation. A full background checks and drug testing will be required.

We are seeking Engineers to work members of a software development team in close cooperation with hardware and system engineering professionals to provide full software life cycle development (requirements analysis, design, code, integration, test, documentation and support) following CMMI processes as implemented by Company Command Media/IEP procedures.

The products are mission critical machinery control and instrumentation systems for the U.S. Navy and other U.S. Armed Services customers. Responsibilities will include:

- Updating/preparing test related documentation procedures

- Performing software testing/verification

- Supporting user interface changes running on a PC platform -

- Supporting the development of test tools used for product verification testing


Requirements:
- BS in an Engineering discipline

- Software background which can include development on Windows based platforms and Embedded Real Time environments (VxWorks, No OS, Embedded XP, Windows CE).

- An active DOD clearance

- Must have Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC programming

- Experience using Rockwell Automation RSLogix5000.

- Must be able to interface and communicate efficiently with a team members

Note: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. WITHOUT requiring Visa Sponsorship.

Desired:
- Experience with Control system theory is helpful

- Embedded Real Time control systems experience using C++.
