Our Miami office is currently seeking a Software QA Analyst for its growing and cutting edge team!

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Software QA Analyst evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Software QA Analyst:

• Runs in depth testing, diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and determines if system requirements have been met.
• Recommends system improvements or corrections to development staff.
• Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for all internal development.
• Reviews any new or modified system, including documentation, diagram, and flow chart, to determine if system will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines.
• Conducts functional and regression tests against internal development and vendor purchased systems prior to implementation.
• Periodically reviews all systems as compared to internal and selected external standards
• Provides protocols and systems for internal users to report quality problems and provides data from systems to Development team
• Writes documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
• Provides input into Development plans for system enhancements
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• One year experience in Web enabled applications
• One year experience in Client Server applications
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to transfer user requirements into test cases
• Ability to work independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Borland Silk, Watir, or other automated testing toolset (Selenium is comparable)
• Experience with a Scripting language
