Description
Ensures quality testing procedures are followed for all electronic data capture databases (EDCs) and e-registries, and suggests improvements. As part of a project team, manages ticket tracking system and customer service response process.

Responsible for carrying out the quality initiative and process in a business unit of approximately 50 people and $10 million in annual revenue.

* Bachelor degree in business or computer science
* One to two years related experience and/or training in quality assurance testing
* Or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience that will enable the individual to perform the essential functions of the job
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to write software test cases
* Experienced in software quality testing and validation processes
* Experienced in ticket management systems
* Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio software programs
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
* Computer Skills: Word processing, spreadsheets, internet software and E-mail.

* CQSE
* Experience in a clinical research environment
* Knowledge of FDA 21CFRPart 11 regulations
* Medical terminology
* Development languages, particularly PERL and JAVA
