Description
Develop, publish, implement, and maintain test plans to meet QA specifications Research and evaluate various testing tools Coordinate software releases and related issues with Development, QA, Operations, and the Reuters Support Centre
Provide assistance in determining bugs and weaknesses in the production environment.
Provide 2nd level support to Operations, 3rd level support to Support Centre.
Report, document, and track software issues Document test results and provide status reports on a weekly basis

Experience/Skills
Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals and troubleshooting
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Plus
Experience in writing html, asps, perl script, and basic command files
Knowledge of Microsoft IIS and other web services
Knowledge of Windows NT/2000/2003 Server products
Experience with Vantive
General knowledge of market data content
Proven expertise with software testing methodologies and tools
Technical Writing experience

Other desired skills:
