Description
The primary responsibility of this position will be to lead QA project resources thereby ensuring test cases and procedures are developed and implemented from specified project requirements. The secondary responsibility is the coordination, execution and verification of testing procedures (cases) against software applications. This position ensures that all benchmarks are being met and reported accurately to all the department managers of the project team

Additionally, SQA Lead will establish common work processes, standards, and tools; coordinate test activities across project teams to meet business and customer needs; provide guidance and coaching on quality assurance â??best practicesâ?; develop QA documentation, including processes, test cases, test scenarios, test data; use automated testing tools, including developing scripts, executing tests, and reporting results.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
â?¢ Develop, implement, and continuously improve QA processes
â?¢ Create test cases and procedures from specified project requirements
â?¢ Coordinate all testing resources for assigned projects
â?¢ Accurately report and track defects throughout the development life cycle
â?¢ Calculate testing estimates and develop testing schedules for assigned projects
â?¢ Develop and maintain effective communication skills in working with both technical and non-technical team members
â?¢ Attend product/project meetings and review as the Quality Assurance representative
â?¢ Perform related duties as assigned

Profile:
Candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills. Candidate must have three or more years coordinating SQA activity, preferably in an agile development environment with multiple projects and project teams. Must also have solid hands-on experience as a SQA analyst and/or a related project role, with involvement in rapid development methodologies, and best practices for QA. In addition, candidate must be organized, detail oriented, personable, multi-focused, and have the ability to prioritize projects. Candidate must be able to handle concurrent responsibilities and projects with limited supervision. A positive attitude, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, is necessary to meet the expectations of our corporate culture.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Qualifications:
â?¢ Bachelorâ??s degree in related field or commensurate experience, with 5 - 7 years minimum work experience in application software Quality Assurance testing
â?¢ 6 â?? 8 years experience within the software development industry
â?¢ Proven experience with development processes and/or knowledge of QA testing concepts
â?¢ Technical proficiency to include familiarity with Windows
â?¢ Ability to hire, motivate, lead, mentor and manage local teams
â?¢ Excellent end-to-end understanding of SQA processes, organization, and techniques in order to drive the creation of relevant and detailed test plans as well as Organizational Policy
â?¢ Demonstrated ability to generate precise and concise test metrics and measures of quality, and the ability to project, track, assess and report on adherence to these metrics
â?¢ Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage project resources
â?¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills
