Description
A Salt Lake City client is seeking a software tester for web based applications.This is a 4 month + contract with the possibility of being hired permanently.

Experience/Skills
- 3+ years experience in web-based product testing and QA (we don’t need desktop QA folks…want Web-focused)- Exposure and experience in a .NET environment required- Must be able to read C# code and understand what action(s) are being performed- Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server required- Must be able to write SQL scripts by hand. This includes: a. basic statements (Select, Insert, Update) as well as the various types of joins b. Written and used Stored Procedures- Exposure to various source code control tools required (VSS, Borland StarTeam, etc.)- Experience with automated testing tools- Automated regression/functionality testing- Load/stress testing exposure desired- Must be detailed oriented- Must be willing to create documentation of systems, test cases, unit testing, etc.- Must be a self-starter- Must be a personality fit for our organization
