Project Overview
Our client is a large international information systems and consulting firm. The Project is a government contract awarded to our client for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The Project involves modernization of revenue cycle technology and the replacement of legacy billing and accounts receivable applications with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software. IDX Flowcast was selected as the software solution. The project includes integration with the legacy VistA system, as well as the implementation of revised business processes. At the present time, the project beta test site is in Cleveland, OH. Travel is required (approx. 90% Mon thru Fri) from your current residence to Cleveland and future sites. All travel expenses are paid. These are full time positions with salary and full benefits following a 90-day temporary to permanent assignment on the project.

Software QA Analysts...Qualified candidates must have significant experience in the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and the Rational toolset including: TestManager, Robot, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Requisite Pro. Must be self-motivated team member to work with Functional Analysts to analyze and understand Use Cases (business and functional requirements, process flows) the quality assurance process for the implementation of a COTS system. You will be reporting to the project's Quality Assurance Lead and will have the following responsibilities:
--Develop/execute test plans, cases and scripts using Rational TestManager/Robot
--Perform functional, regression, integration and simulation testing
--Identify, report, prioritize, track software defects using ClearQuest
--Participate in defect triaging and provide feedback to QA Team Leads
--Assist QA Team Leads in setting up appropriate test environments
--Verify build validation, code and configuration changes, and defect fixes
--Assess product functionality and usability
--Proactively give clear feedback on status of system/functional area
--Deliver high-quality products

Knowledge and Experience:
--2+ years experience developing test plans, cases and scripts using Rational TestManager and Robot
--Knowledge of hospital patient management, billing or healthcare financials workflow is desired
--Working knowledge of IDX Flowcast is highly desired
--Experience testing healthcare software or clinical IT experience preferred

Skills/Qualifications:
--Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
--RUP (Rational Unified Process) certification is a plus
--Must be detail oriented, organized and dependable
--Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and possess a high level of flexibility
--Must be able to take initiative and work well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
--Innovation in knowledge and use of latest testing technology and standards
--Must be able to travel 90% of the time, Monday - Friday.
