Description
Leading internet company seeking individual test server components, system interfaces, and client components. Perform API level testing, system testing, black box functional testing, client UI testing, stress, load, white-box testing. In short, perform the creative, fun work, and the inevitable tedious, boring, redundant work, that makes up thorough, deep, and successful software testing and quality assurance. Insures products meet established corporate quality objectives. Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Needs to be familiar with NT, UNIX and/or Solaris environments. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Should be adept at installing, configuring, administering and trouble shooting large, complex environments involving multiple servers, networks and databases.df-tc
