Software Quality Assurance EngineerLocation: Campbell, CAJob description:* We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is service and process oriented. You will use your skills to work with all levels of the company to develop and execute test plans, provide assistance troubleshooting issues with our technical support staff and continually improve the quality of existing and new products.Responsibilities include:* Design, implement and maintain test plans and test cases for current and new products. Write new and enhance existing testing documentation. Assist support with reproducing and troubleshooting customer issues.Required Skills* 4 years of hands on testing experience in a professional QA environment* Experience with decomposing testing tasks into independent test cases* Outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as exemplified by clear issue explanations, documentation and effective intra- and inter-group communications.* Expertise in testing enterprise software at the server and application level.Desired Skills* Proficient in two or more scripting languages* Sufficient SQL knowledge to write basic queries to insert, update or delete data into or from a database table.* Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and networking e.g. IP addressing, DNS configuration, etc.* Experience testing applications on Windows, Mac OS X and UNIX/Linux.df-tc
