Siteworx, Inc., a web application design and development company located in Reston, VA, seeks a QA Manager to facilitate the planning and testing of high profile web applications and software. The Software Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the definition, planning, and execution of testing and quality assurance processes in support of web application and product development. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, the QA Manager reviews and approves requirements and specifications, validates that those requirements have been fulfilled, and optimizes the process by working with clients, project managers, information architects, web designers, and software developers to establish and execute repeatable, well documented test plans.

The successful candidate has the ability to balance simultaneous projects in a fast-paced professional services environment. Experience with editorial workflow, flexible publishing tools and content management systems is ideal. Must be a champion for adherence to process and documentation, while being flexible and establishing a collaborative rapport with multi-disciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities
-Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality assurance practices and procedures to ensure high quality web applications and products
-Oversee functional, performance, regression and automated testing activities
-Mentor team members on planning, test case development, methodologies, and tools
-Plan and manage personnel and external resources as needed
-Review plans, requirements, specifications, and release schedules to identify gaps or inconsistencies
-Develop and document test plans and test cases
-Assess and offer strategies to mitigate project risks
-Oversee issue management practice and systems
-Facilitate bug scrubs with development, project management, and other project stakeholders
-Analyze and communicate qualitative and quantitative data to development and project management teams for purposes of impact awareness, prioritization, and team performance
-Support project managers during client acceptance testing process
-Coordinate with clients, project managers, designers, developers, and systems operations teams to ensure successful deployments

Experience/Skills
