May perform one or more of the following:


  • Define, implement, and validate DMAS-approved quality program as specified;
  • Monitor performance to ensure compliance with contract;
  • Supervise independent software quality assurance testing of all system change orders;
  • Recommend process improvements to improve quality of software releases and system documentation;
  • Conduct internal field audits, as required in the quality plan, for technical processes, such as system testing and change management, and system documentation;
  • Report quality program activities and metrics associated with performance standards to DMAS on a weekly basis.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality programs in a complex IT environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with all levels of management;
  • Demonstrated experience in configuration management discipline;
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing performance metrics and identifying corrective actions needed to comply with contract requirements;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage independent testing of software quality.
    Education:
  • Graduation from accredited college or university with coursework in information technology, business administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of training and experience may substitute for education requirements.Define, implement, and validate DMAS-approved quality program as specified;Preferred Accreditation:
  • Certification from American Society for Quality (Quality Auditor, Quality
    Engineer, Quality Assurance Manager, or Six Sigma Black Belt); or
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – Project Management Institute;
    Or Equivalent certification.


    All other duties as assigned.
