Description
Software R&D Engineering Manager - Medical Device:
Great Pay to $145K. Full time, permanent position.

Must be currently employed in the medical device industry. Position is located in Orange County California.
Must be experienced in programming C/C++ language with mandatory embedded programming experience.
Directs the Software Dept. toward the accomplishment of the Company's objectives. Develops and recommends the Company's software development. Research, design and develop computer software from inception of project to end of project. Write specifications, provide appropriate materials for validation testing. Must be able to program windows GUI, Graphical Data Representation, Serial Communication, Multitasking, Data Management and Low level Hardware Interface.
Directs the production of all products with established specifications as to quality and quantity. Review and approve any and all design and process changes to assigned products.Work with the Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Service and Quality organizations to insure all company goals for the assigned products are met. You will prepare technical reports. Provide guidance to and assist in training lower-level personnel. Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to address reliability and quality issues of hardware and software interfaces, as well as operational and performance requirements of overall systems Write the qualifications and other test protocols.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in an Engineering discipline or closely related field; desirable or equivalent experience. 5-7 years experience in medical device world class manufacturing environment with at least 5 years of progressively responsible production management experience.
Excellent leadership and management skills. Strong verbal/written communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
REQUIRED TRAINING: Safety, Quality, Company Policies, GMP, ISO 13485/2003, Product Knowledge.
