Description
Design and write test procedures for testing of embedded software on a medical device Share other non-core level software development efforts on the project Work in a team environment to establish project deliverables Participate in document reviews of Test procedures and test cases. Identify discrepancies in the testing and log them into an on-line tracking software package. conduct regression testing on software fixes and document fixes.

Requirements:

? AA or BSEE/BSCS or equivalent and experience with embedded system software design, development and testing. ? Some software development background with a strong desire to learn test techniques. ? Solid understanding of product lifecycles. ? Understanding of methods used to identify and trace system requirements through design process. ? Good working knowledge of real-time and multithreaded programming. ? Assume responsibility for reviewing, running, debugging, and regression testing of sotware testing documentation. Additional Desired Experience: ? Experience in medical device development. ? Familiarity with software engineering processes (RUP, CMM and similar). ? Familiarity with Object Oriented modeling tools such as Rhapsody or Rational Rose. ? Requirement tracing tools such as DOORS and Requisite Pro.
