Software-SQL Engineer

 

Key Objectives:

 

1. Centralized and comprehensive oversight of all insourced, outsourced

    and 3rd party MS-SQL databases.   

2. Partnering with the IT development and support teams to maximize the effectiveness

   of all MS-SQL elements of application architecture.

3. Insourcing of data warehouse technology expertise, development and support.

4. Technical architecture and software design responsibility for applications [other

    than Leads and Lead Manager, that is, those not developed and supported by Creatus],

    including all data warehouses.

 

Responsibilities:

 


  1. Manage all MS-SQL databases




    • Coordinate physical design/configure/build with 3rd parties and software suppliers

    • Performance monitoring and remediation

    • Security/access

    • Backup and recovery




  1. Develop deep understanding from a database perspective of all CDC applications and architectures that are built on MS-SQL.

  2. Participate in all development and support project teams, coordinating all MS-SQL elements of the design and build.

  3. Develop MS-SQL design specifications and schemas.

  4. Plan, architect, design and execute a Web Services/.NET application environment for CDC (apps other than Leads and Lead Manager].

  5. Develop technical architecture and program design specifications for software


      applications and websites; work with 3rd party developers for development and

      implementation.


  1. Provide SQL support for complex data extracts and queries; develop reports using


      SQL functions along with Business Objects and oth
