Description
Very secure and stable firm has an immediate need for a developer with 2+ years of C++ and Java developer experience. Must have the ability to diagnose problems.
Will be primarily responsible for level 2 customer support on company's core product.Applicant will help troubleshoot the back end of a web-based application by parsing internal process logs (manually or programmatically) and coordinate code changes required to resolve the problem. Applicant will also develop tools for the support team to increase the efficiency of level 1 and level 2 support (system monitoring tool, database queries, extracting data form XML files). Applicant will interact with engineers in the product development group and management. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to communicate about complex situations clearly. Should have good group personnel and customer relationship skills. Up to 10 percent travel required - mostly domestic but some international travel could be required.df-tc

Experience/Skills
5+ years of experience in C++ and Java programming. Ability to parse, understand and modify existing C++ and Java code. Ability to diagnose problems using the help of log files provided by application and Oracle queries. Must have basic understanding of XML, and SQL. Experience with Python or similar programming languages, XML parsers are preferred but not required.
