Description
The Software Support Specialist required skills are: 3 years experience with MS office suite, PC applications/operations, email software (outlook), OS (windows 98, NT/2000/XP. Provides support to end users of software, support includes assisting users in the operation of software. Requires the ability to provide troubleshooting. The nature of the day to day responsibilities are broad and generally involve the identification, diagnoisis and resolution of complex problems. Position operates with considerable latitude within area of expertise, keeping management informed of progess on a regular basis. Install and maintain computer software programs in accordance with installation instructions and maintenance specifications; perform testing as required. Evaluate new technologies which may apply to customer base. Document program modifications. Develop/revise procedures to enhance system performance, provide user training/orientation on newly installed software, perform information searched through the use of the web and newsgroups.





Experience/Skills
