Software Sustaining Engineer, Semiconductors, Embedded Software development, RTOS, C++, ARM

Based in Florida, we are a global semiconductor firm. Due to expansion and strong demand for our products we are currently recruiting for a Software Sustaining Engineer. You will be responsible for rapid response and turn around of critical issues and development of ongoing enhancements. We are looking for someone with 7+ years in a software sustaining role.

What you will be doing!

- Trouble-shoot critical product issues and provide solutions for our Embedded ARM based firmware, windows based management application and Production Test System
- Work closely with Applications Engineering, Customer Service, Product Verification and Product Development groups. Reproduce problems, develop solutions and unit test scenarios
- Augment Product Verification test plans to include specific issue coverage

What you need to have!

- 7+years experience in Embedded systems software development (design, implementation, testing and maintenance of networking software)
- Candidate work style skill set needs to be: flexible person who thrives in change environment, results-oriented, strong time-management skills, a team player, & is a person who has excellent communication skills
- 5+ years sustaining, troubleshooting and debugging customer issues
- 7 years developing software in C and C++
- Ethernet solutions experience
- RTOS, multi-threading, high-availability, carrier grade and Scripting
- Experience working with IGP routing protocols
