Performs complex software design activities integrating multiple technologies. Provides architectural guidelines for all software design activities to current and future technological environments. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies. Responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technological activities.Specific DescriptionGeneral skill areas are: PDM Teamcenter in a secure environmentSharepoint/portal like environment they call IPE (similar to IDE)Extranet access strategiesPlatform selection i.e. Hardware, OS, Network connectivity, storage solutions, reliability, availability & serviceabilityRisk analysis2 --> 3 Months fulltime, hands on architect visiting the Denver Data Center and a Colorado Springs location to develop the plan and design the architecturefollowing 4 Months at about 20% for follow-on supportfollowing 1 Month at about 50% to support Operational Readiness and go-live.
