Project Leader, Software Systems Engineering

This position demands a Senior Software Systems Engineer with programming and application/architecture design skills utilizing C#.NET, Web Services development, XML, UML and SOAP. The candidate should be proficient in performing design, coding, client integration testing, debugging and documentation of programs of moderate complexity, while adhering to established development standards, coding technique and procedures.

The individual should possess excellent communication skills. The individual must be comfortable adapting to a rapidly moving client focus and must be adept at multitasking. The candidate should be able to work with offshore development teams and should be able to give technical directions to them. The candidate will be relied on to provide support of existing applications, provide enhancements and design new interfaces.

As the Project Leader will be responsible for supporting various production applications for users in multiple locations, the ideal candidate will possess strong problem solving, debugging and application maintenance skills. Also critical would be the ability to manage change, effectively test fixes/enhancements and adhere to Software Development Life Cycle principles.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience in DB2 or Transact SQL.
- Familiarity with WSDL and WSE, along with a demonstrated proficiency in design coding, client integration testing, debugging and program documentation.
- Familiarity with SQL programming and knowledge of SQL2005 are preferred.
- Knowledge of BizTalk 2004 is preferred.
- Client Server/Distributed Architecture, Design and Development skills.
- Strong debugging/maintenance skills.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to interact well with different levels of management.
