Description
The Enterprise Messaging Team (EMT) is looking for an energetic person to help support SharePoint portals environment. Responsibilities include actively maintaining the WSS and SPS servers and sites, designing the server infrastructure, architecting recoverability scenarios, developing best practices and implementing solutions to aid productivity with collaborative tools. Participation in an on-call rotation for 24x7 server support is required. The successful candidate must be able to take high-level direction and work well with other members of the team as well as application development teams and other infrastructure groups.

Required Skills include:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5+ years IT experience in a large/medium sized environment.
2+ years experience supporting portal environments (SharePoint, PlumTree, CoreChange, or WebSphere Portal).
Proven experience designing, planning and implementing IT infrastructure on the Windows platform.
Experience supporting Windows 2000.
Must have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals.

Preferred skills include:
Experience supporting IIS, FrontPage, FrontPage server extensions, Exchange Server.
Experience with Lotus Notes, IBM Tivoli/Unicenter TNG, SAN, LDAP, Single Sign-On.
Application development experience with .Net, VB, C, C+ or JavaScript are a plus.
Experience with load balancing tools (Big IP, Distributed Director).
