Description
Purpose and Objectives: Ensure delivery of quality, bug-free software, and maintain quality during products lifecycles Aid in implementing new software features requested by customers, etc. Provide proper software bug and feature reporting Essential Job Functions: Test new and older releases of inc.jets GUI software for proper functionality Test new and older releases of jet.engine firmware for proper functionality Record, report, and assist in resolving any bugs found Assist in implementing new software features Maintain the bug reports and new feature lists Technical Knowledge, Experience and Skills Requirements: Must have previous experience in software testing in the Windows XP environment Must be able to set up and operate complex electronic hardware and software Must be capable of writing and following detailed test procedures Familiar with electrical and software documentation standards and revision control procedures Working Conditions: Normal office environment, with some factory floor and laboratory testing Minimum Qualifications: BSCS or BSEE 5 years related experience Success Factors: Must work comfortably in a small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong problem solving skills.
