Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate/lead all aspects of the Global Billing (A/R) UAT for the Buffalo test team with the local and remote (India) test teams. Provide testing guidelines, assistance and problem resolution, to testers for the Global Billing and other applications supported by BUF and NYC technologists and worldwide vendors. Coordinate and plan all phases of the testing lifecycle activities: Business Scenario, Test Script development, Data Strategy, Validation Requirements, Test Execution, Defect mgmt, and Post Implementation Support. Acquire and evaluate all project documentation for test planning. Develop User related Test Strategy Plans. Ability to design and facilitate Business Scenario Workshop with Users and Business representatives. Run meetings across several time zones with 10-15 parties. Define detail-testing coverage for all UAT Test Classes. Provide daily and weekly progress reports of all stages of testing activities utilizing testing tools and standards. Coordinate testing schedules/windows with technology/testing partners and Ops readiness Unit, and coordinate workflow of testers and give guidance as required. Test Management. Experience/Skills
Job Qualifications:
4+ year degree in mgmt/technical field or equivalent formal training required.
Proven ability and desire to lead a test team (up to 5 local and up to 5-10 remote-India-team members)
Strong background and understanding of the System Development Lifecycle, with focus on Testing Methodology
2+ years hands on experience in software testing.
1-2 years experience with Mercury Test Director Tools preferred
Ability to facilitate business scenario workshops or experienced in facilitating cross-functional meetings
Ability to create testing coverage by mathematically determining permutations and spreads based on key selection criteria.
Knowledge of building/coordinating a testing strategy. Ability to estimate work efforts/resources.
Strong understanding of Billing (A/R) or other Corporate Cash (Banking) Management Product Offerings
Proven ability to interact with varying levels within the business/product, operations and technology teams locally and remotely.
Strong influencing, conflict management, problem resolution and negotiation skills
Ability to provide leadership in a matrix/remote management environment
Project management skills helpful and excellent analytical skills required.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and self motivated
Leadership, people management and meeting mgmt bility
Ability to develop, document and implement new test procedures and quickly adapt to change
Excellent oral, written documentation and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Must thoroughly enjoy software testing
