POSITION SUMMARY: Join our client's Quality Assurance department designing automated test scripts using Quality Center Quick Test Pro (QTP). Your primary focus will be in the realm of software test automation of complex testing projects across Web, Client Server and Object Oriented programs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Automating test cases using QTP converting existing manual test cases into automated test cases. Creating a comprehensive regression test suites for different testing projects written in .NET, C++, C# and adding validations against MS SQL Back End databases. The position includes test execution as needed and day to day interaction with Team Leaders and Managers, as well as interaction with outsourced teams as needed. This position requires strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Must have the ability to work on repetitive tasks as needed to achieve goals with minimal supervision. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related technical degree with experience in Client Server/SQL/Visual C++ based systems. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle is expected and experience in Mercury Quality Center tools is required. At least 3-5 years designing complex QTP automation scripts is required.
