Software Validation Engineer

We are currently seeking to fill a Software Validation Engineer position for our client in Pinellas Park, FL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Type: 4 months contract opportunity

This role will work with cross-functional teams (IT, Quality Systems, application end-users) to document IT systems in order to support quality systems and regulatory requirements as they pertain to network infrastructure hardware, software applications and operating systems.

Job duties include:
- Gathering and documenting system requirements, design specifications and operating procedures - Create Project Plans, Validation Plans, Validation Protocols, Test Cases.
- Execute Validation Protocols and Test Cases.
- Write summary reports

Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in Quality Systems or Manufacturing for medical product manufacturing, preferably medical devices.
- Proven experience with FDA GMP/QSR, ISO and other regulatory issues related to medical devices. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of validation processes and programs, with practical using statistical verification methods.
- Proven proactive team-based skills.
- Notable technical writing skills ability to grasp and communicate strategic issues as well as tactical ones.
- Computer skills such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, ProjectPerforms other duties as necessary.
- Bachelors Degree in related technical field.

Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Business Analysis / Technical Writing experience
- Understanding of FDA regulated industries (Medical Device / Pharma) and Federal regulations (GMP, 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 11 and Computer Systems Validations) a plus.
- Network Infrastructure (servers, switches, routers, firewalls)
- Network Operating Systems (Windows) and Databases (SQL)
- Enterprise and Client/Server Applications
- Network Security
- Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery
- Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
